Information gathering

For each visitor to our website, our web server automatically recognizes the visitor's domain name.

We collect the domain name of visitors to our site, the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, aggregate information on what pages visitors access, information volunteered by the user, such as survey information and/or name and address.

Use of Information

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our website and to send you newsletters or emails you request. We disclose information we collect when legally required to do so or to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our website.

Information Collected via Gifts/Online Registrations

Whenever you make a gift or register for an event using this site, information will be requested on a form from a secure third-party service with which we have contracted. When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial information, we redirect visitors to a secure server. For financial transactions, we use PayPal at this time to make it easier for you to donate or pay online securely. (Due to current regulations and laws around the collection and protection of financial information, we offer this convenience through PayPal, which is able to provide both a high degree of convenience and a very high level of security and protection of your information far more cost-effectively than if we were to do it ourselves.)
